Feeding from our Hearts

On my 2022 missions trip to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, our organization started something new not knowing what the full outcome would look like, however, we knew that the impact was going to be big especially due to all the inflation going on around the world. So on this trip, we decided to start this project by blessing three families with grocery hauls. In our hearts we knew that food is a major lack in these 3rd world countries due to several circumstances like employment opportunities, wages, & no assistance from the government just to name a couple.

Seeing the lack in this area was big to us because we knew how essential proper nourishment is to our health & lives. With that said, we kicked off this project by purchasing groceries for these three families which would last them up to 3-4 weeks. These grocery hauls would consist of several different items like corn flakes, rice, eggs, sugar, coffee, pampers & wipes (if babies in family), ketchup, beans and so much more other nutritional items.

After seeing the impact of this project, we decided to start blessing families on a monthly basis with grocery hauls through our partnered organizations in Honduras. We are extremely proud of the outcome of this project, therefore, we are praying and hoping that we can start this same project within our local communities as well.
